Can petuatary tumor cause thyroid tumor? If there is increased level of tsh in blood, is that the sign of petuatary tumor? What’s the therapy of that kind of tumor? Does it require life-long therapy or it can be healed? Please post. Thanks.

Well, tsh has function to stimulate thyroid gland to work. It can lead to development of hyperthyroidism. As I know, the first treatment of tsh secreting Petuatary tumor is microsurgery. It can provide a complete cure. The drug that is used in treatment is octreotid. Hyperthyroidism can also be treated surgically or by radiotherapy.
