I have decided that it’s about time to do something to reduce age spots on my face. Am not sure that want to choose the surgery as the method but am thinking about microdermoabrasion or photo facial. A friend of mine had microdermoabrasion and it seemed to me a bit invasive. I don’t know much about photo facial, so would like to hear something more. I’d like to get some pros and cons in photo facial vs. microdermoabrasion. Thanks in advance.
Photofacial is done with kind of laser that is called intense pulsed light and they always insist to say that it’s not laser but something much better. It successfully treats facial redness and also age spots and rosacea. As I know, package of treatments runs $2500-3000. It usually takes about 3 weeks and the effect lasts at least for 2 years. After that you can repeat it. It is absolutely non-invasive and you can go to work the same day. These results can not be accomplished with microdermoabrasion.
