| i thought it was abnormal too until i got to this forum thread. i have had them for years now as well. i am 29 and today i found one real big and it was tender so i popped it. i guess i shouldn't have done that since it's Glands of Montgomery. now i know! thanks again everyone! |

Hi, when I was getting out of the shower today, drying off, my left nipple felt sore. I looked at it and felt around and it was the very tip of it that was hurting. So I squeezed it and this really really long, not runny, yellowy stuff came out of it. It was like a white head on you nose. But is was hecka long probably, if it had not curled up, at leest 6 or 7 inches long!!! What the heck was this? I have not had a baby in 9 years and It has never done anything like this before
Anyone Know??????????????????????????? |

| I have always known the bumps were normal, but I got my nipples pierced about 3 months ago and one day while cleaning the crust off I noticed one of the Montgomery glands was swollen and red and when i cleaned the crust off blood and pus came out. It took 1 week on daily sea salt soaks and betadine to heal it. Everything was healing fine; glands and piercings, until 2 weeks ago the same gland got "infected" (?) again. I popped it the other day b/c it hurt so bad and wasn't going away and it keeps filling up with pus and now the other nipple seems to be getting the same thing. I should also mention its only the glands closest to the rings. I don't want to go to the doctor b/c I have no insurance nor do I want to be told to take my rings out. Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a way to make this stop? |

Is this only associated with pregnancy? I "popped" one today and had the same experience, but this has never happened to me before. I mean, I've had the bumps forever, I just noticed one in particular looked a little normal and thought it was maybe a pimple.
This isn't because I'm pregnant, right? Because I'm 19, and that. . .just isn't going to be good for me. . . |

| I get them too, don't worry. If you come up with what looks like a bug bite that is infected, have it checked. Could be IBC.. inflammatory breast cancer. But it is extremely rare and like I said it looks like a bug bite that is infected. |
