Pineal cyst and various symptoms

I just found out I have a pineal cyst.
My memory fails me pretty constantly.
I sleep a max of five hours and always fatigued.
I am a 45 year old male, who use to be a power house.
Body has since broken down with large scale orthopedic problems
My real difficulties started about 16 months ago when I lost consciousness, while stoking the old woodstove.
Has anyone heard of such a thing being caused by this "beign" cycst?
I'm also appalled, that anything besides brain matter in ones head can be treated so minutely!

I was diagnosed with a 1.5cm "benign appearing" pineal cyst in Oct 07. Since then, I have gone from DR to DR getting no resolution. I have constant headaches (feels like I am being stabbed in the back of the head) and constant pressure all day. I have double vision and just this morning was experiencing a flickering white light on the left side of my eye for about a minute or two. It was very disturbing. I have increased intracranial pressure and increeased intraocular pressure (excess eye pressure)... No DR wants to take me seriously and keep trying to blame all my issues on my weight. Yes, I am overweight but consistently losing weight (seeing a personal trainer) but the workouts are getting to be too difficult with all the head pressure. I have lost just over 5% of my body weight and by all statistics I should be feeling better. I am feeling worse only because the head pain is so intense and severe.

You need to keep fighting until you find someone who will listen. So far, I know of the Skull Base Institute in L.A. and The Center for Cranial Base Surgery in NYC who has successfully performed surgery to remove pineal cysts.
