I have been on the patch for about 3 months now, but this month I was 2 and 1/2 weeks late for my period. My last period was very light and lasted only 2 days. (I usually last 4 -5 days and have a medium flow)

This month, when I finally did have my period it was very painful, which is very unusual. It was also very heavy and had some blood clot looking discharge during my period. (which is also unusual) For the past two days after my period I have been having slight cramps with a light pinkish discharge that has a slight odor. I have also felt very tired lately and my breasts have been sore for almost two weeks. I was in a car accident two weeks ago today, and it was shortly after the accident that I started to have the severe cramps and felt tired. This has made me very worried about possible health problems. Is this something I should be worried about? Or is the cramps and discharge something that is a side effect to the patch? Please help.... Sad
