| i had sex about 2 weeks ago and the condom broke, in less than 24 hours i took the plan b pill. It was strange because i got my period the morning right after i had sex and took the pill during my period. Also, about 3 days ago, i began to have salmon colored discharge and i am not sure if this is a side effect of the pill or if i may be pregnant.please help! |

| Is anyone else out there totally annoyed by the side effects of Plan B? I took the pills five days ago and have been experiencing brownish/dark red bleeding, cramping, breast tenderness and some backaches. Does this sound familiar to ANYONE out there? Would love to hear your thoughts because right now it feels like I am the weirdo. Please let me know if you are the same. When can I expect this to settle down? |

I'm on Yasmin, and my boyfriend and I normally use a condom, but one broke on the night that I took my last non-placebo pill in the pack (Friday). The next morning I took Plan B just to be safe. I felt absolutely no side effects.
However, I was supposed to get my period sometime on Tuesday, and now it's Wednesday night and I still haven't gotten it. I know the package said it could cause you to be up to a week late, but I'm seriously freaking out, especially since I didn't get any of the other potential side effects.
HELP!
To make matters worse, I'm leaving the country for six weeks starting tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do while abroad.... |

| i took plan b and a week later im bleeding (ive been bleeding for 4 days now), i dont know if its my period though because im not suposed to have it for like 2 and a half more weeks and this blood is more watery then my period is... is this my period? or something else? shud i wait and see if i get a period in the 2 and a half more weeks? or will it not come then because i am bleeding now? i need advice |

i think plan B messes with the cycle... maybe the burst of hormones helps to pass out the egg... i dont know im getting nervous myself i took plan b sunday morning and now its friday and i got the red blood too
i plan on going to see a pharmacist to double check and then to get a prego text JUST in case once this bleeding stops... i used to be on the birth control pill to help regulate my period but i sttopped it last month, im just hoping my period came a week early.
for all those women who have posted in this forum stating they were worried they were pregnant... did anyone actually become pregnant or is this a paranoia all us Plan B takers go through? |

I'm wondering the same... did anyone get pregnant?
I'm freaking out, buy my boyfriend thinks I have nothing to worry about. I'm not on the pill and he didn't use a condom. He pulled out, but I was so worried that he didn't get out in time, so he bought me Plan B. This happened Friday night and I took the pill within two hours and took the other Saturday at the right time. It is now Monday and I've had no bleeding like you've all mentioned, but I am bloated and cramping... and eating all the time!
Do you all think I should be worried? |

| To the last post...there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to take plan B if you are on the pill....you are only overdosing your body on homones. The pill itself is over 99% effective in preventing pregnancy even if he did "ejaculate" inside you.....thats the point of it.....The only reason you have to worry is all the side effects you will be experiancing over the next few weeks due to the unecessarily large amount of hormones you have put in your body...Plan B is only 75% effective and only needs be be used if you are not on the pill and had unprotected sex...Sex is not "unprotected" if you are on BCP...(at least against pregnancy it is in terms of STDs) Please don't take it again, Still take your pill, deal with the emotinal and physical roller coaster you will experiance in the next few weeks, expect a lot of insanity with your "period bleeding and or spotting" expect hot flashes, nausea, ect ect...and if you are monogomus with your bf and take your pill daily don't worry about being pregnant...like i said EVEN if he ejaculates...I assure you you ARE protected. If you use a condom you are SUPER protected. Millions upon millions use the pill and only the pill for contraception and never get pregnant until they want to.. Hope this helps and i hope you now understand that you do not need to take plan b again.... i can only imagine how crazy you must be feeling right now...plan b alone has such a large dose of hormones that it whacks out your system for a while...ugh and on top of the pill....true overkill. Take care of yourself and explain to your BF that your will probably have uncontrollable mood swings for a while and ask for a little bit of slack. |

Yeah! That's what happened to me! Seems like a lot of other people are experiencing the same things, so I should'nt be too concerned. But it's still annoying. I JUST had my period a week and a half ago. I took Plan B a couple of days ago, and now it's BACK. My tummy hurts like it usually does on day 2 or so, but the bleeding is really like, like... later in day 4. (Mine is usually about 5 days).
I feel EXTREMELY irritable, occasionally I get dizzy, Ive been getting sick at night a lot, my back kinda hurts, and I'm TIRED. Really tired.
I guess my question is, because I'm having this mini-period type thing now, will I still have the one I was due to have in a couple weeks? |

The same thing is happening to me only now I've been bleeding for 13 days and I'm so worried. |

The same thing happened to me only now I'm on day 13. I still have tender breasts and I'm not bleeding heavily but the blood is still there and it's really upsetting. |
