I have RA and I am taking 400mg of Plaquenil, 20mg MTX, and 10mg Prednisone. I have only taken the Plaquenil for 5 days and every day I have a headache and not like a regular headache. It feels like I have pressure on the top of my head. I never had this feeling before. Could this be a side effect of the Plaquenil?

If it is that is an unusual side effect for Plaquenil. I would try stopping and restarting it to make sure. Side effects that I know from Plaquenil are: nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, cramps, loss of appetite, diarrhea, Notify your doctor about this. Also rarely symptoms of an allergic reaction may occur, like: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble.
