I suspect my ENT specialist is going to tell me I have to have a tonsillectomy (I am 61).

I had a cold with a lot of phlegm building up, and one night it blocked my airway.

I had a panic attack and had myself taken to the hospital.

My breathing still seems a bit restricted, and having been so traumatized that night, I am worried about post-op swelling blocking the airway again.

How long before I can breathe somewhat normally?
