| I am 30 years old, have had one miscarrage with a d and c, and one pregnancy with a c-section delivery approximately 7 years ago. I also had a tubal ligation 5 years ago. Over the past year and a half I have been experiencing heavy bleeding with clots and cramping monthly. Over the past 3 months, I have had 2 to 3 periods a month. In October of 2005, I had a Pelvic Ultrasound and it showed my uterus in normal size and was negative for any abnormalities. I just had another ultrasound in April of 2007, and it shows me having a small simple cyst on my left ovary and a prominent uterus almost doubling in size from one year and 6 months ago. Could you please explain this to me and let me know what could have caused this and what should be done about it? Thank you |
