Please advice - just have had a myomectomy

I've just have had a myomectomy 12 days ago which was sucessful & the pain has been very easy to manage with minimal medication. I'm now having my first menstral period, & noticed a new pain in the groin area, if I am stretching.

Is this a hernia, & can it be serious?
