Hi! You didn’t say at what part of your menstrual cycle this brown spotting occurs. If it is happening slightly before period or a couple of days after your period, then it is considered to be normal.
It the brown spots appear out of the blue, with no connection to your period, then I would see a gynecologist. Unfortunately, you don’t have another choice. After all, gynecologist appointments are not much big of a deal. Every girl who turns 18 should have regular annual appointments.
As for the bleeding/spotting….there could be a couple of reasons. some girls may experience spotting during ovulation, in the middle of your cycle. This is nothing to worry about. However, the spotting could be due to ovarian cysts, uterine polyps or fibroids, injury from inserting things (during masturbation for example), hormonal fluctuation, certain medications and stress.
Some of these conditions require treatment and I reckon you should see a doctor. |
