Pneumonia? Cancer?

Hi my mum has been in bed for the past 5 days with the flu- cold, coughing, burning up, feeling weak etc. However the past couple of days shes been sick and getting tingling feelings in her hands and legs. Today while coughing up flem little spots of blood was found. My mum is 41 years old and is a non-smoker. Could it be pneumonia? or cancer?
