I am a 29 year old female who is currently 12 weeks pregnant with my first child.

I had Polyarteritis as a child (diagnosed aged 11. have had no check ups since approx age 15 as all was fine).

I have recently had unexplained chest pains & trouble breathing. The doctor told me it was NOT an infection of my chest & sent me away with antibiotics (which I have not taken).

Rest appears to be easing the pains, but they have not gone. I have had them for approximately 3 weeks now.

I would be interested in knowing if Polyarteritis Nadosa can reoccur many years down the line? And if any PAN sufferers have gone on to have any problems in pregnancy!
