Polyp in my gallbladder

I was diagnosed with a small polyp in my gallblader after having symptoms for 3 days of gas pains in my back ,chest and stomach.I was seen by a E.R. doc. had a ultra sound first then ,a hida scan keep in mind back in 2006 I had the same test and was put on a fat free diet for a year and I had no more problems until now.Will the surgent remove my gallbladder? Rolling Eyes
