Period ended this past Sunday 8/26 - it was not late and started on time (On Wed). On the pill and have been for about 7 years, never missed a pill or was late in all this time, believe it or not. Starting in May, I began to freak out and thought I was pregnant for no other reason than I felt like crap. I had 3 negative blood tests back then, & I've taken a pregnancy test at home ever since (very sad I know-it's prob been like over 100 I've taken since then-I'm going to be getting help for this). I can't really remember the last time I had sex-it could have been the first week in Aug. sometime. He did not come inside me. Hence, we're back to me having my period on time. Because I'm so paranoid, I took a test on Tues-Negative. Took one yesterday-positive (ClearBlue digital).Better chance of this being a false positive than there is of me getting pregnant with perfect use on the pill with perfect use? Other things that cause this? Could I have had a miscarriage since my period had a lot of clots? So so nervous.  |

Im not absolutely sure about this but arent pregnancy test only 98% correct... if you've taken over 100 sooner or later one of them is going to be a false positive. its even gone through your mind. it very very very unlikely your pregnant, you havent had sex in a while and are on the pill. i would be extremely surprised if you were. i would say go to the doctor and get it checked though, i know what its like to be worried about something and not able to stop thinking about it.
i would say you should go to the doctor and get it checked... take another one to double check it is positive and get help about being unable to stop taking pregnancy tests.

Request another blood test. There is more to being pregnant than feeling "crappy". As a matter of fact, my husband and I tried to get pregnant for over 3 years. Every month my period would be late, I'd have ALL the symptoms of being pregnant, but...no pregnancy. I, too, would take dozens of tests. When I finally did get pregnant, I felt fantastic and told my mother she was silly when she asked me if I was pregnant. I had NO symptoms, and was really shocked when I saw the postive test.
I felt so good those first few weeks, in fact, that I took dozens of tests because I didn't believe that I was pregnant! (my son is now 4 1/2)
When the blood test comes back negative, put the worry behind you and get on with things. If you are really starting to obsess with getting pregnant, then maybe you should use an additional form of birth control until you get help for your pregnancy test OCD (lol).

| Like others said take a second one but if you have been trying to get pregnant please, please take this time and love you and your baby because there's lots of woman who would love fine out that they are prego but congrats love. |
