After the operation of my leg (triple open fracture), doctor prescribed me to take Coumadin. Since I have been taking it for a long time, I would like to know how much more I should take this drug. I have some changes on the body, and I would like to know if there is some relation between those and Coumadin. What are possible Coumadin side effects?
Coumadin is actually warfarin. Its main side effects are bleeding and teratogen effect it has on the pregnant women. Bleeding happens the most, in digestive tract and kidneys. Cramps, diarrheas, stool with blood, these are all possible symptoms, hematuria also (it could be even invisible). So, you see that there are some serious possible complications.
