Possible Pregnancy? Missed Period...

I'm writing in this in-place of my partner.

Recently she and I allowed ourselves into intercourse, fully protected with a condom and nothing broke, they were even the ones equipped with Spermacide!

However her period has been regular for the past four months (previously it had been irregular) and this month it was supposed to happen the 5th. Well, its now the 6th and no sign of it. We had sex on the second. Now, i understand most signs occur about a week after or so but her period has been on the dime and now its getting to be a whole 48 hours late.. thats unusual...

Now, with all of the protection there should be no worries right? Right! Well, the missing period is an odd one.. Not only has it not arrived yet, but she's reported a 'bloody goop' of sorts in her undergarments but apparently its not her period.

Anyone know what this means and if it could be pregnancy? We'd like to get this taken care of ASAP if its possible. I understand its a bit early to tell, but advice and ideas would be really appreciated. Its a bit of a scare and in our situation we DO NOT need a child right now. We were considering picking up the E.C. tomorrow (the 7th), would it be too late or..? I was also poking around the idea of a pregnancy test, but as said before it may be a bit early for those to pick up on anything.

well i know this post might be late and all. but you DID use a condom which, as far as a know, has a 3% chance of breaking. (not entirely sure), and with the spermicide thing. i would either A) wait for the period to happen, could be a couple of days late.
or B) get a pregnancy test. you can probably get it at a store. not that much of a problem unless you have finance issues. but yeah thats what i think you should start at.
