My uncle will have laser eye surgery. My mom is very worried about him, she is against it. She thinks that surgeon didn’t explain what possible complications are after the surgery. can you please give me information of possible complications after eye laser surgery, so that I can understand all the panic in our family. I guess that surgeon explain possible complications to you uncle but if you want to know I can tell you. Healing is relatively fast, but he may experience a mild burning or sensation for a few hours after surgery, perhaps blurry vision. Also side effects such as discomfort or pain, scratchiness, dryness, haloes or starbursts around lights may occur.
