My husband suffers with a bad skin problem on his hands. During the summer months his hands peel (one more than the other). He has gone to the dermatologist and have filled many prescriptions for topical creams and ointments to treat his skin condition and nothing has worked. An elderly woman recently saw his hands and suggested that he use mineral oil on them, which happened to work wonderfully on his hands. What will be the outcome of daily use of mineral oil on the skin ?

Nothing bad that I can see with respect to the affect of mineral oil on the skin. Should just help maintain soft, if not somewhat greasy skin.
