Hi,
I am a 17 year old male who is REALLY worried cancer. For the past 2 years I have had a mass that I assume are my left inguinal lymph nodes. I never really thought anything of it until just recently when I started thinking that it could be cancer. The strange thing about the mass is that it completely goes away and then will come back later. It will also sometimes be like one mass and other times feel like 2 or 3 small masses. I have done some research on the topic of lymphoma and from what I have read, harder, more solid masses point directly to cancer. Anyway, I have scheduled a doctor's appointment, but what I want to know is if there are any alternatives as to what the mass could be... Am I 100% certain to have cancer or is there something else that it could be? Also, if I do have cancer, after two years is there still a chance that something can be done about it? Please do respond to this as I am very worried... |
