Possible miscarriage

About two months ago I went to the emergency room. I couldnt walk (unbearable pain) my blood pressure was low an I began bleeding (my period was two weeks late) the doctors did a urine and blood pregnancy test the blood came back positive. At the same time i was treated for a uti. They then told me to come back in four days to have a second test which i would later find out was negative. i just wanted to know is it possible that i had a miscarriage, the doctors never gave me a pelvic exam r any information regarding this matter except that i had a uti
