| Hi. I'd like some advice. I've been on birth control pills for about two years now and only for the past two months have i forgotten to take any. This past month, however, there were times when i'd forget 4 in a row. I work 3 jobs, so I've been a little rushed. When I missed the 4 (which I did twice last month) I'd take 2 one day then 2 the next, then 2 the next. I remember the directions telling me to never take more than 2 at a time. I do not remember the directions telling me that if I missed more than 3, just to stop and let my period come. (Oops.) Anyway, aside fromt the 4 days missings, I also missed about 3 single days, doubling up the next morning or whatever. I have not had intercorse since January with the exception of 3 days before my period was due this month. I forgot my last 2 pills but figured I'd be ok. With all the pill missing, I did spot dark brown a few times this month, but nothing heavy. Since I was 13 (now 26) my period has always been about 5-7 days long. This month, however, I spotted a day, had light red bleeding the next and spotted the third then stopped completely. No clots whatsoever. Could the missed pills have caused a late ovulation? Or could I have just screwed up the thickness of the lining of my uterus by playing wonky with the pills, thus resulting in an abnormal period? My roommate and friends tell me I have nothing to worry about. However twice today I've felt dizzy and I almost passed out about an hour ago just walking around. I also have had frequent urination since yesterday. I'm not sure if I could be pregnant, or if I'm just having psychosematic symptoms. Its only the 14th and I had sex on the 4th. Its not possible to have pregnancy symptoms after 10 days, right? Please tell me I'm crazy. I've decided to not take the pills this month to let my body equal out and I also will not be having sex since my boyfriend is moving. The sex was without condom, finishing inside, we're both clean, but I know its still stupid. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. |
