Possible problem with my birth control patch!!

i have been on the patch for almost a year..i constantly feel pains in my lower abdomin (spelling) and lower back..pains like i am going to get my period. these pains usually come the first week after my period and putting on a new patch. i also get really bad nausea. this usually lasts until the third week on the patch and when i start my period i feel fine.. i have been like this for a while..can this be from my patch? any other patch users have the same problems? should i go see a doctor??
