Hey, Im 27 years old and just had my tonsills removed and i am currently on day 8 of recovery...I too noticed pain in my ears so i went to the doctor, however my pain did turn out to be an ear infection lol...All they gave me for the pain is Tylenol 3's and they seem to be working fine as I am now back to eating solid food again and am in minimal pain now that the ear infection has been treated...I find that popping a T-3 every 5 hours is working nicely as I don't even notice the pain any more and will hopefully be back to normal in another week.
