I am 43 years old and I have just returned from the colon operation. I have been diagnosed with colitis several years ago, and I have had my share of troubles with it in that time. Anyhow, things got complicated so I had to go for a surgery. Now I have a problem with high temperature, overall health misbalance, are we talking about Post-op Infection here?

Yes, we most surely are. I have to say that post-op infections are not unusual at all in abdominal surgery, especially when it comes to surgeries performed on colon. This complications occurs because of the great number of bacteria present in the intestines. This condition should be treated with large area antibiotics.
