I am a 46 years old. I have torn my frenulum previously but it has healed with no problem.
Last week when I made love with my wife, I tore it again. A couple of days later in the shower, I noticed a "sore where I tore it and it was a tiny bit swollen at that spot. I didn't worry about it.
The next day my whole foreskin was swollen to point of looking "clear" The swelling is slightly painful as is the sore.
I am on my 2nd day of antibiotics and have had no change in the swelling as of yet.
My doctor also put me acyclovir in case it was a viral thing.

How long doe this take to heal back to "normal?"

I also read on this website that sugar will draw down the swelling by osmosis - How do you put sugar on your swollen foreskin so that it sticks?

I am in a bit of a panic as this has never happened to me before and don't know how much more swelling will happen and don't want my penis foreskin to burst from over swelling.
