I’m in 22nd week of pregnancy. Yesterday I had systolic blood pressure 140 mm and diastolic 110. I also had severe headache, but it has used to occur from the beginning of pregnancy. Could this be preclampsia? I had tachycardia and felt very upset.
Preeclampsia happens rarely. Systolic blood pressure is often higher than 160mmhg in preeclampsia. I also had hypertension in pregnancy and was suggested to take antihypertensive that are safe to use in pregnancy. Your doctor would sugest you proper therapy for hypertension and anxiety to. You shouldn’t think about the worst things that can happen in pregnancy. Take care.
