Pregancy test negative but bleeding like a miscarriage. what

I am 2 months late for my period. i took a pregnancy test 2 times from a store. they both came back negative. i had sex 2 days ago and was bleeding bad. but i never was bleeding before that and i wasn't bleeding the next morning. Was i pregnant and had a miscarriage?
