Could be all pregnancies high risk with women with lupus? My wife is suffering from lupus and she is considering pregnancy. I am very worried about her. I don’t want to lose her. I don’t want baby if that mans that I will lose her. Any input would be great.
Although many lupus pregnancies will be completely normal, all lupus pregnancies should be considered "high risk.” High risk commonly indicates that solvable problems may occur and must be anticipated. If she decides to have a baby, her pregnancy should be managed by obstetricians who are thoroughly familiar with high risk pregnancies and who work closely with the woman's primary physician.
