Pregnant and not eating anything!

Hello. I'm 24 year old female and I'm in my 6th month of pregnancy. I'm experiencing one really wired problem and I would like to find out more about it. Like I said- I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I've lost 2-3 pounds every month since becoming so.
This is very weird because I know that usually pregnant women develop really strong appetite and gain weight in this period.
I force my self to eat but my appetite is dead because I eat almost every second day and still feeling nausea all the time. I'm very afraid because I don’t know could this cause any harm to my unborn child.
Please help me!

Hello. I have read your post and decided to help you. You were right-this is very uncommon situation but I know some facts about it.
You see, your feelings of nausea and vomiting are caused by hormone progesterone and its effects on the smooth muscle of the stomach.
Like you already assume, the lack of needed calories can leave big impact on your child because the baby really cannot grow and develop so efficiently.
There are many products on the market that are made just for this occasion and they are called prenatal vitamins.
