I belive I got pregnant on Easter 3-4 days after I got on the shot I just wanna know if I have a chance of actually having my baby.

My understanding is that there is an increased risk of Premature birth...Have you taken a pregnancy test? If you use a "first response" test on your first morning urine it can be pretty accurate even now...BUT in most cases Depo Starts working within 24 hrs (if you got your shot during your period) and if thats the case I doubt you are. .. If you ARE pregnant and take really good care of yourself and dont have any other risk factors you definately have a chance of havinga healthy baby....good luck - come back and let me know the results if you have a chance. I also have a question related to the thread starter's question.

Scenario: GF has irregular cycles. She found out her period started sat night. That monday she went to the clinic and got scheduled for a shot a week from that monday. Her period was so little and lasted for 3 days then stopped. After stopping one day she had some "leftovers" for a day then stopped for good.

Q: With that being said, how long should we wait for the shot to take effect?

depend if she is taking the new shot or older one- to be safe wait a week- until then at least use a codom
