im 18 and on the mini pill and have been for a while my period is every 28days this month i was 4 days late did a test it was positive but i came on it was not a very heavy period but other than that it was normal. i thought id check again to see if i imagined the test result i did 2 i got 1 negative and 1 positive whilst i was on. i did 2 digital 1s tht my bf bought me after i came off and they were negative. but a week after my period i started bleeding really lightly i say bleeding but its like a brown/pink discharge and its only lasted 2 days plus ive had really bad heartburn since then its been 4 days now and no i havent had sex. im really confused could some please answer me i would appreciate it thank xx ps im quite worried ive never bled in between periods before. hello i dont know what is happening i had pregnancy symtoms for about a week and a half then got what i thought could be my period but it isnt normal like it always is the days are very accurate but it isnt normal i still feel some pregnancy symtoms could it be that i might be pregnant but it is still early so i did get "a period " please help im going crazy

i know you said you have the symptoms and what you thought is your period but it isnt a normal period as you described so i think you should do a pregnancy test that way you will know, if you are unsure go to the doctor thats what im going to do. x

thank you for your suggestion i have another question how much longer should i wait before i take a test i took one last monday and it was neg, but then got my so called period on sat. could it be 1 i tested to soon or 2 im just not pregnant please send me more of your words of wisdom

its possible that you tested too early u have to wait to see if you period is late or not normal. was it normal??? if it was then you should be fine but if not then you might not be but take another test anyway and do it in the morning, your first wee of the day is teh best because you arent drinking so much in the night so its more concentrated!
to be honest with you i have no idea that is what im trying to find out to be honest both my mum and my sister had periods and later found out they were pregnant. im going to go to the doctors if i can ever get an appointment i suggest you should do the same to be on the safe side.
