Hi! I am 16 weeks pregnant and I have a weird chest flutter and lots of throat mucous.
I have been to the cardiologist to rule out heart palpitations. I even wore a 24 hour holter monitor. Each time I had a chest flutter, my heart rate remained steady.
I do cough more than usual. This has been going on for about a month. I have a lot of mucous that occasionally can be very excessive and cause me to gag.
My family physician suggested allergies and put me on zyrtec, which helps some...but not completely.
