Pregnant with non painful vaginal flatulence. Could this be harmful?

Hi, this is really embarassing. I am 5 months pregnant and I've woken up in the morning twice and had vaginal flatulence. It doesn't hurt. I've heard so much about air embolisms it kind of scares me. Is this harmful or normal?
What could be the cause of this? I never had it before. Thank you.

If there is an odor this could signal a problem...Vaginal flatus that involves strong odor may be a result of colovaginal fistula, a serious condition involving a tear between the vagina and colon.......if there is no odor I don't think you have anything to worry about[/b]
