I had an abortion three years ago. It was my first pregnency. Since then we have been having safe sex to avoid the pregnency. Now I want to have a child but could not get conceived during last three periods. Can there be some problem related to the abortion? Will it be trouble for me to get concived? Please help.

If there were no complications such as infections, the abortion shouldn't affect your chance of pregnancy. It is normal to take 6 months to a year to fall pregnant

Precisely as Crzyfl said, 'average' couples take between 3-6 months to become pregnant actually....


ARE you monitoring EXACTLY when you ovulate? Because there is only a 3-5 day window each month you can fall pregnant.
