Premature Ventricular Fibulation

My good friend suffers from premature ventricular fibrillation. I honestly don’t understand what it means. I know just that she has arrhythmias very often, but she never had anything more serious that that. I would like to hear some explanation about this.

Ventricular fibrillation is a rapid, ventricular arrhythmia that immediately brings to a halt all meaningful ventricular contractions. Blood immediately stops flowing, and loss of consciousness occurs within seconds. As a general rule, VF doesn’t occur in patients without underlying cardiac disease.
