Prescribed Tysabri for CrohnCrohn's disease

Hi, folks. I am diagnosed with CrohnCrohn’s disease. My doctor suggests me to try with Tysabri. I am not sure about this, especially since I’ve read this medication is for people with multiple sclerosis. What should I do? What do you think? I would appreciate all your replies. Thank you in advance.

Hello. Tysabri has been approved in treatment for Crohn’s disease. It can be used for treating moderate to severe forms of this disease. However, I suggest extreme precaution with this medication. Tysabri has some dangerous side effects. One of them is progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). It can be even lethal. I suggest you to see all pros and cons thoroughly with your doctor.
