Hello, I am 47 years old and it seems that I can freely add another troublesome detail to my life list. I have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and I have been prescribed on mesalamine on rectal suppository 3x a day! As if I don't have enough trouble with my rheumatoid arthritis!

Unfortunately, if that is the case, you have to take that drug and in the way your doctor told you. Mesalamine should help you with your ulcerative colitis, it is meant to treat mild to moderate forms of this illness. Well, rectal suppository is not the most comforting way of drug taking, but that's how it is.
