What should I do? Problems sleeping, days and nights, 40 years old female, have tried sleeping pills, but they don't work. Always wake up tired and my concentration at work is very poor. My thyroid gland is a bit bigger then it should be, could this be the reason? Thanks in advance.

Insomnia and enlarged thyroid gland are symptoms of Graves disease, but this must be confirmed with your doctor. These to signs might not be linked at all. Perhaps stress and depression (you did not mention those, this is just an idea) are causing your troubles. You really need to see your doctor and do appropriate tests, that is the only way you can help yourself.
