Hi, I know it is not pleasurable to distinguish metal taste, but if you are taking any medicines it could be side effect of them. Also, think of what kind of pots do you use for cooking? Perhaps, you use some damaged pots, which release small amount of metals. Try to change your plates, spoons, forks and see if it works to change the taste. But, it could be subjective sensation as well. Upper respiratory infections, head injuries, insecticides, and other chemicals may lead to taste sense disorders.
