I have been told that I need a Procedure for cervical erosion and it involoves using heat to sear off the damaged tissues, also that I need to be under general ansthesia for this procedure that should only take 5 minutes. So why the need for general anesthesia and is there any other option for this besides heat removal? I have read about freezing is that not a better alternative or an easier one? How do I make an informed decision? Thanks for your help. Question
