Is Proctits contagious disease? My boyfriend told me that he had Proctits 8 months ago. He said that it was almost asymptomatic, mild infection that healed spontaneously. Should I believe that there is no danger for me? Is condom good enough to protect from proctits?
Proctitis can be infectious and non infectious. It depends on causal agent. It’s true that some individuals with this disease may have no symptoms and to spread disease unknowingly. As I know. It should be treated with antibiotics. Your boyfriend may be in chronically stage of the disease. Suggest him to visit his physician.
