My father works in metal parts factory and works at least 10 hours a day. And he has been working like that his entire life. And all he got from there is professional nickel poisoning. He managed to eliminate that problem quickly but another one emerged – lung malignity? Is there a connection between those two illnesses?

Unfortunately – yes. It is most likely that the nickel sensitivity induced the changes in his lung cells. Now that this was discovered, I assume that he is in front of the very hard part of his life that will most likely include an operation and chemo therapy too. I just hope that he will be all right when all is over.
