I hope that you could help me here with my problems. I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow, but I would really appreciate any info you could give me. I feel pain in forearm and I cannot say why that is happening (friend mentioned Pronator Teres Syndrome). Could this be some sort of myopathy? Is it serious?
I must say that Pronator Teres Syndrome is uncommon. It is basically compression of the mediane nerve in the vicinity of elbow. Treatment for this condition is very simple, includes rest and daily light exercises. Also, drugs that stop inflammation and decompress surgery are additional options. But, you will know what is exactly your problem after doctor's examination.
