Hi, my brother is 22 years old and he has problem with his nose breathing. He has deviation of nasal septum and very often his nose is congested. His doctor prescribed him Pseudoephedrine Hydrocloride to put in his nose as solution. I would like to know something more about this medication.

Hi, Pseudo ephedrine is common medication for such problems. It is good for decongestion of nasal airways, sinuses and Eustachi tube. You have to take care not to use this solution too long because it may damage your nasal mucosa. It would be the best to consult your doctor how long to take it.
