Can abruptly stopping Ativan and Lexapro cause Psychotic Behavior or
Episodes?

Yes, Yes, Yes, I am true proof that stopping Lexapro cold turkey can cause behavior out of the ordinary... I was a slightly manic person who was taking 10 mgs of Lexapro for anxiety... I stopped cold turkey and then the next thing I new; I stole a credit card.... I went shopping;;;; felt like I was going crazy and couldn't control my mind or thoughts!!!!!!! Nothing ever in my life has happened to me like this. I'm a normal mother, wife and citizen and CHRISTIAN... Never Never Never stop Lexapro cold turkey. It messes up with the neurons in your brain and if you have any type of manic or impulse behavior it can create it 100 times worse. I've been doing so much research on this and have found alot of people with different but similar crazy behavior and thoughts. Never stop it cold turkey. I'm responding to your question but if you have heard of anything like this at all please respond back. I have got to find all the info., I can on this. Thanks and God Bless You.
