Posted: 08/26/07 - 23:26 Post subject: Pulsating pressure/dizziness all over |
|
|
For the last 3 weeks i've had this weird pulsating pressure/dizziness... I almost don't even know how i can describe it. I hear it in my ears.. I feel it all over my body. It comes on whenever it wants to.. and it last usually between 2-5 beats...
It's ruining my life, i'm pretty much useless right now. I had to quit my job because i just couldn't go.
I've been to my doctor about 6 times and she's come back with nothing.. I've done 5 blood tests for thyroid and diabetes and few other things, i've had my heart checked out, blood pressure...I went to the ER on friday morning (it's sunday now) and the doctor said "These symptoms are unfamiliar to me" and told me i need to talk to my doctor about the anti-depressants i'm on.. I was on Paxil for about 6 months and just recently changed over to Wellbutrin, but the dizziness started before i changed over medication.
Now i'm on nothing because the Wellburtin did not agree with me.
Oh and i also got checked out by a chiropractor because someone suggested it may be related to my neck, and though my neck was out, it made no difference.
I want so badly to get to the bottom of this.. I've been breaking down crying recently beceause i just can't stand it. The doctors are useless.
Some people say it may be stress related so i quit my job, i started relaxing with aromatherapy and practice the chi breathing and it's still here..
Someone, please please help me. |

| I think I've caused damage to my muscles through computer overuse (similar to RSI/CTD). Dramatically lessening computer typing has lessened symptoms but not cured them. I'm hoping all it is is RSI and that it is reversible. Please let me know if you've discovered anything new. Best of luck. |

i, too, have been experiencing strange pressure in my head and dizziness/lightheadedness. It has really begun to affect my daily functions. I am depressed, imagining what horrible ailment could be causing this ... (not good for someone with anxiety)
i will be visiting my GP tomorrow to evaluate my meds. |
