My dog (who is kind of old) has this thing on her head. It appears to be a boil or something along that line. This morning when I came home, it busted, leaving a trail of gooey water mess and now there is pus coming out. My parents don't want to take the dog to the hospital, for fear of them putting her to sleep. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could do at home?

if this is happening to your animal you and your family need to be more attentive and caring for it. This is like animal abuse, letting the dog suffer like that. and they wouldn't put a dog to sleep unless they had to. Take care of your animal or dont have one that easy.
