Hi-

I'm new here and not sure where to ask this question, hopefully somebody has an idea, any help would be appreciated. I had a miscarriage on 4/6 (I was 18 weeks, but the baby had stopped growing at 16 weeks). I needed to have a D&C and bled for about 2 weeks afterwards, until 4/20. My Dr. said to expect my period anywhere from 4-6 weeks after the D&C. My husband and I had unprotected sex on 4/24 (which was 19 days after the miscarriage). I have always had regular 28 day cycles, with ovulation occuring either on CD 14 or 15, even after childbirth (I have 3 healthy children), so I figured that on the 4/24 it should be safe. Anyway, I'm still not due for my period until Sunday 5/4 and last night 5/1, which is CD 26, I started bleeding again. It was only when I went to the bathroom, I put on a pantyliner, but have not really needed it. My question is: can this be bleeding leftover from the miscarriage or is there a chance that this is implantation bleeding (last night was exactly 7 days from the sexual act)?

doubtful its implantation bleeding but stranger things have happened- was the spotting more brown or red? if brown its probably left overfrom miscarriage. Even though u have always been regular your body is still in the recovery period so try to give your body at least a mont b4 getting pregnant if u can...good luck
