I have a question abour pregnancy and sex. Is it safe to have sex during pregnancy? I’m in 5th week and have bad cramping, but having sex with my husband really relaxes me. Is it absolutely safe for baby? Are there some positions that are safer than others?
Having sex during pregnancy can not be harmful for baby. The best positions are those that you find the most comfortable, as the stomach grows. Report to your health provider any changes that you notice during or after intercourse, like bleeding or spotting. But occasional movements and orgasm contractions cannot harm baby because these contractions are not the same as those before the delivery.
